Pom Pom Sensory Balls

Pom Pom sensory balls

I made these pom pom balls for my daughter when she was about 10 months old. She enjoyed rolling them, throwing them, holding and chewing on them. They are really easy to make, requiring just a few supplies. Color variations are endless. I made one in warm colors, one in cool colors, and one with multi-color pom poms.

Here are the supplies you will need, with links:

  1. Styrofoam balls
  2. Pom Pom balls
  3. Hot glue gun and glue sticks

All it takes is heating up your hot glue gun and gluing down the pom pom balls to your styrofoam. I used smooth styrofoam because it is what I had on hand, but any kind of styrofoam and any size will work. I have a hot temperature glue gun, and since I am not putting a lot of glue on the styrofoam, it works well and doesn’t melt.

Also made in warm and cool colors.

Side note, do not leave these laying around unattended if you have dogs! My dogs keep trying to steal them, thinking they are dog toys!
